Territories: Sites of Encounter brings together a dynamic range of installations, two-dimensional works, film, and mixed media pieces that expand how these ideas are experienced. The exhibition explores places where connection unfolds and social life takes form, while also considering encounters with different versions of ourselves and the beliefs we carry into shared spaces. From playgrounds and parks to sidewalks, community hubs, and informal gathering spaces, it reflects on how play, movement, and interaction activate environments and create meaning. These sites, whether structured or spontaneous, become stages for exchange, negotiation, and belonging, inviting audiences to reflect on how shared spaces shape both collective narratives and our evolving sense of self.
